I noticed this ripple underneath the slide out. It was not like this when I got it in Oct. But LaMesa said they had it noted but that I never said anything about it…so more or less my though luck… It was not this bad..I know that I would have noticed that!
So the mechanic that I found to do work on the van part of MySweetDream recommended this RV Repair shop. So got appt. for this afternoon and went over. He was worried it might be my water tank leaking…so they did a test and it was ok…whew….in the end they looked and and found that some caulking had disappeared so they did some caulking.
MySweetdream waiting to get her testing done.
Here is Brian my tech…caulking under the slide. He did a good job…I checked it all out. I am going to get some of the rv caulking and do the other side myself. It has been misty out all day very gray…not clouds or blue sky to be seen. So we did not go out and about today. Made chicken noodle soup in the crock pot. Messed around in my craft room, going to get rid of a lot of junk…cant take it with me in rig so might as well try and sell it. I ask again about my batteries and he explained a little better how to tell if they need water…I can see I need a strong flash light so I can see in the cells better. I ask about deep cell battery verses sealed battery. He said for the house battery deep cell was best , but could put a sealed one under the hood. The do sell both and he would put sealed in if I really wanted. That will be later… Anyway I left there 100 bucks lighter. I ask about the repairing the ripple, he said that it is just that small panel and not a load bearing panel….he ask if I could live with it and I said yes so it will just stay like that for now. …. I have lived alone for over 35 years…and did most everything myself…so I cant believe what a wimp I am with this RV! I am afraid to do anything with it….test out things, go on a over night trip, geezz must be my age lol lol. That’s it for now thanks for looking and come back soon.

You need to go on an overnight! Nothing to be afraid of. :)
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way when I got my RV but after the first couple of times it got easier and I got more confidence. I had some friends guide me along the way and that helped a great deal. So, get out there and try it. You'll do fine. Just ask for help if you need it.
