WHAT’S UP…..

Well as I said…
I am back in Florida…and it is still way to hot for me…I have to do what ever I want out side or in the rig early in the morning then spend the rest of the day in the house…I am not a happy camper spending the day in a house…but that said…it isn’t so bad right now as I have been have a big problem with my back and right leg…spending a lot of time resting my leg…and it is getting better…it is most bothersome when sitting…not good for some one that has an RV..driving is the worst..that is what started the whole thing to begin with…but I feel I am on the mend now…

I followed them around the yard….
I have found that you never know what you will find in your yard here in Florida…Remember the Pelican that came for a drink of water I posted about …funny things happen…Well my leg is getting much better…glad for that…I think it was all from my back..Also I booked a site at Silver River ST. Park here in Florida for a week at the end of Oct…some of my Women RV friends are going to be there for a mini GTG before the big one in Jan…and on the Fantasy Football scene …Grammy kicked bu**…lol, lol, I beat them all this week…So on that note I will see ya later…have a great day and stay safe…thanks for looking and come back soon..

FIRST LEG OF THE TRIP….

This gang is seated….
and ready to roll…We left Greenville at 10:00am…went to get gas and ice…seen a couple people so that made some down time…I pulled out my gas card I had put $75.00 on the other day..well put it in the pump and started pumping…well it only put in $9 (gulp) I had given my sister a empty card to remind her she can get 5 cents off a gal by using that card at Country Fair…so I thought I had given her the wrong one…but looking in my billfold I found the right one…


So on down…
the road we went…I forgot to charge batteries so no pic..not much to take pics of anyway….We took I-79 south to I-68 east in WVA.,then 522 south in VA Drove 309 miles in 7 hrs. up and down the Allegany Mountains ..was up to an altitude of all most 3,000ft..crossed the Eastern Continental  Divide..drove in four different states…PA,WVA,Maryland, and VA..it took me longer because I only drive 55-60 mph…and I took the long way…the other way would have involved the PA Turnpike and I do not like that road…I took the highways because I am not use to traveling in the mountains and those small roads…and I wanted to get to my daughters in one day…I needed to dump my tanks stop 4 times looking and could not find a place…as far as the drive..it was uneventful (what we want) I-79 was busy but not bad for a Sat…I-68 was a dream as far as traffic was concerned…light….the up and down the mountains was a little stress but after I figured out my down shifting I did good…Planning of staying here until Tues.. the head out…not sure where I will stop on Tues… a campground so I can dump…I must be relaxed and happy to be on the road…went to bed at 9;30 woke up one time and then slept until 5..I have not done that good in a very long time… it is so nice to be living in MySweetDream…got up this am..took Maggie out…did my morning routine..etc..was sooo nice…for some reason I feel free…away from the house and Greenville…knowing that next year I will be able to GET IT DONE! (the house) I am praying for a great winter in FL this year…with a bunch of GTG’rs..So see ya down the road…stay tuned for the next installment ..thanks for looking and come back soon…I promise to have more pics..

WOMEN RV CAME A CALL’IN

 looked out the window and saw this white van pull in front of the rig. Thought someone was wanting my spot. Went out and seen these 4 girls! Linda, Sarah, Sandy and Wendy!
Here we all are freezing but posing for our pic. Cynthia took it for us. I was really glad to see them. The were over at the beach looking at the waves and came by to see Wickham Park and stopped to visit.
Was a little warmer this afternoon so went out on the picnic table and worked on my flamingo flag. The letters I glued on got wet and started to come off. So I traced around them and now I will paint them on. Also made 5 pairs of earrings while I was out there in the sun.
Food shot for the day….a snack this afternoon…micro wave cheese nachos. I used very little mild salsa…it does not agree with me…but a little once in awhile is ok. These are very good! Top them with sour cream and black olives, what ever you like. I will be packing up in the morning going back to my dads. But will be going out to lunch with Cynthia and another lady Marilyn here at the cg. I was nice getting away just wish it would have been warmer.  Not sure where my next get away will be or when.
