MY DAY SAT……

On sat I want to get my spot at the home park so took the RV down at 6 :30 there were already 5or 6 boaters there…I left it there Maggie and I took our morning walk…went back to dads and got ready to spend the day at the park..there were 3 yard sales in the hood this morning so I walked around the hood again and took in some sales…it got dark out…so I thought I should hold off walking down to the park…and I was right now it is pouring cats & dogs…So made it there about 1/2 hr. later

About blogger again….it looks like we all might have to join the Google + rather we want to or not if we want to continue on with blogger…so I might wait to the last min,. to join…one other thing ..it seems like people have problems loading pic on blogger sometimes…I wonder if you would use Live Writer you might not have that problem…so far for me I have not had it…I use Live Writer Not to worry Gypsy I check your blog daily…and about another 20 or so blogs!! I miss it when you are not blogging…

So we went back to the home park and spent the rest of the day just hanging around and not one thing of interest happened. There were some people out and about , picnicking and boating…it did rain off and on all day so that is  probably why not much going on…we sat out side and I read and Maggie sniffed and growled…In comparison my days are not as exciting and eventful as most of my forum and blogger friends….  That’s it for now thanks for looking and come back soon.

MY MONDAY NEWS

My front yard today.
This is were we parked this morning at the home park. Could not get my usual spot but this is just as nice with  my own little green park bench. I have started to make my breakfast and lunch before I leave, trying to get there early and my parking spot.
After eating breakfast we set up our outside room. A chair for reading and watching…and a matt for Maggie that she very seldom uses. And this is our home for the day.


Some of the things we watch
Seen this pelican eating a fish he got…but not in the usual dive bombing way they do…I tried to get a pic of him eating but he was to fast for my slow camera ..one gulp and it was gone. People are always interesting to watch..along with other wild life….but not  much to report today.

Other things…
We were here yesterday also….lot of peeps here even tho they were calling for bad weather…did not get bad until about 4 pm and then it let loose..we were back at dads by then. I took of when the sky got black.
Today so far have not done much …after breakfast cleaned up the wheel estate…being small it gets messed up easy…then took Maggie for a walk around the park.
I get so frustrated sitting here not traveling around like everyone else…I want to go…see new and exciting (and the not so exciting) things and places…. I want to go before I get to old! Am I being selfish wanting this kind of retirement??  I wish I could express some of the frustrating things that I feel…but I don’t want this blog to be a downer…I read on another blog that most bloggers talk about their everyday life…the good, the bad and the ugly…lol…tell it like it is…why then do I hold back? Maybe more later…thanks for looking and come back soon.

SAD DAY AT THE HOME PARK

Early in the afternoon I seen the SEA TOW guy go out…then about 4pm seen him coming back towing something…not a boat.
Then these guys show up. Florida Fish and Wildlife.
With a big trailer on the back of there pick up.
Here they are picking up the tow…I talked to the Sea Tow guy ..he said they had called him earlier and ask him to pick up this dead Manatee. Seems like they were very busy today…this was the third Manatee…they had got calls about…so when they are busy they ask him to go out and pick one up for them….so sad….I didn’t go up and look in the trailer but the other two were in there. After I took theses pic’s we walked around the park…to sad to watch any more….but its part of life…I did see on the news  that there have been at least 40 Manatee deaths so far this year in Brevard Co. …I guess that is a lot….They are blaming the weather…cold snaps and then big warm ups so they go out into open water ..the cold comes and they are to far out to get back to the warm water…
This morning I went to a few yard sales and got a couple things and will post later on what I got. Also there was another encounter with a pelican. Not me this time but some boys at the park….
