finally made it to a campground…Wickham Park…here in Melbourne…below I had to pull into my site forward…because of where hook ups were placed….just a short patio set up only here Friday to Sunday morning…
Here I the front with a couple Christmas decorations…I got them at Dollar Tree….on the way over….
Close up of the Santa hat…my mirror is not dirty just discolored from the hot Florida sun..one of these days I will tape everything off and spray them white again…I think he is cute…
A few more decorations I put up yesterday…lol crazy looking tree…the Nativity set is one that my daughter painted for me a few years ago…SIL cut the out for her…she has made several of these for gifts and selling at her craft shows….(click to enlarge)…
A few more decorations….My daughter also painted these Santa ornaments..She doesn’t make these any longer…she is now into painting the Santa faces on sea shells, driftwood and other things found at the beach…sometimes she will sculpt cheeks and nose on them…and then paint the face…really beautiful and different…
And the rest of the story….
Well there is the good and the bad…so first is the good….as of last evening all the symptoms of the kidney stone is gone…HALLELUJAH….so this to has passed…lol…also on the bad news side of things …Doctor called me with MRI report…I guess there is significant damage to the lower spine…slipped disk, bulging disk, chronic fractured first lumbar vertebra..and spinal stenosis ..not what I wanted to hear…doc wants me to see another doctor about treatment…she is making the arrangements…more on the good news as the first part of post Maggie and I are parked at a site in Wickham CG…I am going to rest, take it easy and do some sewing …if I see or do anything interesting here I will do more posting about it…MM and Harley dog and a friend of hers is also here…so could call it a mini mine GTG…well all for now thanks for looking and come back soon …blessings to all G&M
I love all your Christmas decorations - your daughter is VERY talented. Beautiful work! Glad the stone has passed, but I'm sorry about the MRI results. Hopefully further consultations will help.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty campground. I'm almost always in the desert or high desert, and the scenery, though also beautiful, is so different. Enjoy your short stay there. :)
