the bad blogger award of the year…100 wacks with a wet noodle is called for…have a lot to blog about so it is just plain lazy that i have not done so… i will start with this little thing that keeps mosquito at bay …and i have to say it works great …we used it at Hardee Lakes…i got this one at WM….Thermacell Mosquito Repellent…you can read about it on the package at WM or where ever you find one…great for camping ..fishing …etc…
Spent some time ….
on the west coast of Florida last week or so…my RV friend Nan and i GTG and spend some time having fun…we did some eating… sight seeing…yard saling…thrifting…eating …crafting …fixing and oh did i mention eating??
Below is one of the crafting/sewing we did one day…she has a couple wonderful sewing/embroidery machines that she has been wanting to show me and like wise i was very intrested in checking them out…and in the pic is something that i have been wanting to make for over a year…its a thread catcher..you hang it over your sewing table to throw scraps of material & thread in while you are sewing…i had the instructions and could not make sense of them…Nan had made totes before so she could figure it out and we made a couple this one is mine and i forgot to take a pic of hers…she made a red one very pretty….i also made some “poopie bag “ holders that you attach to the dog leash..no pics yet…going to make them to sell at the church bazar…and i love love those sewing / emboridery machines…i now want one…so smooth to sew with and Nan did an emboridery project to show me how that works…so cool…
And a couple of Mz. Fix-its…
This is a long story but i will make it short as i can….i have not told the story because it is embarrassing to say the least…it all started with my trip back to Fl this fall…i was parked in a lot at a WM and when i pulled out forgot that i was parked under a light pole and my back driver side kissed the pole as i pulled away… long short..ins. was not going to pay for the whole mess and i did not have a few thousand $$ to pay…it ripped the back seam and underneith was wet rotted wood not caused by the “kiss” reason they would not pay…anyway.. I put some white duct tape on it and that is the way it stayed ..untill….below we did a little hammer tapping and digging out the dry rot… pushed and pulled to get it back into some what shape….it was bowed out pretty good …in this pic you can see we got it pushed in good…
Then we screwed on 3 straps to keep it all together …so the vibrations of travel would not make it any worse…caulked all around and in and out …then put etetnabond tape over it all…
And called it done…i am so disillusinoned with this RV…and i have to admit how stupid and naive i was when i bought it…i have learned so much in the last few years..i am not going to go into detail about it all…but lets just say it is a lemon and i did not know what i was doing…but i am going to make the best of it for now… the fix is not pretty but it will take care of the problem for now…
And the rest of the story….
I have more to tell about the trip to the west coast of FL…hope i can remember it…i also want to do an up date on Pheebe people have been asking for it…a week from this coming Monday i have an appointment with the opthamologist that will be doing my cataracts and they will schedule at that time…i have had a pretty good winter here in Fl this year…i decided to go and do as much as i could ..not just sit in camp driveway all winter…and since i will have to spend the summer here also i want to continue doing the same..i also did another mod on my rig this winter i am happy with will save it for next time…

PS …it seems like i can not longer post on other peoples blogs…i have a blogger profile but they want me to change it and i dont know what this is all about..can anyone out there tell me …that is if you can post on my blog…
